Dear Colleagues,
Three months have elapsed since the end of the Agia Napa Symposium and I am pleased to inform you that nearly every participant who contributed with a paper has sent the final version of his or her text. There are still, however, a few papers for which I am expecting the final version.
As stated in a previous circular, I hope to start the editing of Tropis IX in March 2006.
Thanks to the generosity of Heliotopos Conferences our website will remain active for the preparation of Tropis X, scheduled for August 2008.
Kindly note that we are already considering the candidacy of some towns that have shown an interest in hosting the 2008 Tropis Symposium. We expect that the decision concerning the final date and place of the event will be announced in June 2006.
Let me take this opportunity for expressing our very best Season’s Greetings and heartfelt wishes for a Happy New Year 2006.
